# BEARLABS NFT

They traveled from den to den for years, searching for a place they could call home...

Enduring the pains of each season - forced into hibernation for the winters where almost all progress made in the spring and summer months were erased.

Some seasons were better than others, where the streams the furry beasts traveled alongside were bustling with salmon too big to fit in picnic baskets.

But, the bad times far outweighed the good times. For every great month, one worse was in the near distance.

And the bears were not alone...

This season of "plague" affected the entire land from coast to coast, every animal and insect from far above to far below.

The skies would turn a vivid grey that seemed to extract every bit of color from everything beneath it.

It was much more than cold, oh no... Much much worse...

This "plague" gripped the entire life, energy, and happiness away from the earth's core.

Panic, fear, greed, and malice set in as even those who were once considered the jolliest of creatures turned rabid.

Mountain peaks that were homes to hundreds of burrows, dens, nests, and packs laid dormant and lifeless, filled with rocks and clouds of dust that replaced the once flourishing landscape overflowing with mother nature's perfect touches.

However, this particular sleuth of bears (the *strongest, wisest,* and *stoic of them* *all*) were always ten tracks ahead of the others; in fact, over time, other animals took notice and began looking toward them for leadership.

But this was no easy task...

This community of bears knew that taking responsibility for one outside life meant taking responsibility for all outside life..

Was such a great task even possible?

Could the plague that was named after these beasts, the ever so feared "bear market", actually be cured?

Since cubs, even the most fearless of their village elders, warned them to be cautious of those crippling times - the one beast that couldn't be tamed.

There was so much against them, but they had enough.

Deep down, they knew what they had to do and how they would do it - but it would require everything from them, all of their energy, efforts, and focus.

As they sat there and thought about how their tribe managed to survive these times over the generations, they finally found the answer -

Instead of wondering around in fear, they had to take action!

Instead of waiting for the plague to hit and then react, they needed to teach the entire animal kingdom how to be more like them; harvest as much as possible in the good months to help them have enough for the bad months.

But they realized that not every animal had the same advantages they had - height, weight, speed, cleverness, brute force.

So, they side-stepped the "teach an animal how to fish" - and decided to do the fishing for everyone.
